The final flavor was influenced by you! It's true. From booths at farmers markets, special events, and eventually storefronts, the ingredients were adjusted based on the feedback we received. Tasters wanted a flavor that was unique and balanced to the tongue. 

Tasters also wanted:

  • healthy (ingredients which your body knows what to do with)
  • sustainable (glass bottles instead of plastic)
  • organic (we successfully achieved 100% Organic Certification).

SHAUCE INGREDIENTS

Water

lucky we produce in Oregon, because it has great water

Tomatoes

add acidity and a nice favor canvas

Carrots

add a hint of sweetness and solid base

Bell Peppers

add bitter notes

White Distilled Vinegar

add a small amount for acidity and a hint of that traditional hot sauce expectation

Onions

add bitter notes and some sweetness after cooking

Garlic

adds to the gourmet flavor

Coconut Sugar

for sweetness, we add a sustainable sugar

Salt

to balance out the taste

Tamarind

for its particular sweet/sour flavor, worldly culture and medicinal value

Habanero

for its generous heat, slight sweetness, and pleasant aroma

Molasses

for its hearty sweetness, smokey flavor, and healthy minerals

Mustard Seed

as a natural emulsifier

Ginger

for pungency and flavor

Turmeric

as a healthy spice adding flavor and color

Arrowroot Flour

as a natural thickener used for thousands of years

Avocado Oil

for taste, mouth feel, and ability to blend with a wider variety of foods

Sunflower Lecithin

as an all-natural emulsifier
